Kristen Power — I hear you! Fear is the biggest enemy to creativity.
I also can totally relate to wanting to help many people with many things across several themes, genres, industries, etc.

The biggest and best piece of advice I can give is one you won’t like.
It’s one I don’t like.
But it’s the only way through the big chaotic confusion.
And that is to treat it like an experiment.
With an experiment, you’re testing something — a theory, for example, and not personally attached to the results. They don’t define you. They just reveal evidence of something and give you data to base decisions on.

At this point in the game, it’s about the journey, not the destination.
I know…

I hate that answer too.

PS. You might really enjoy reading Tim Grahl’s latest book, Running Down a Dream. He shares honestly about his own chaotic, fearful path through this whole creative endeavor, and it’s pretty encouraging.

Oh — and you’re also welcome to join my writers group! Loads of encouragement in there :)

Hope that helps!
